With more than 70 years of history, the Nexion Group is a global leader in the sector of equipment for tire and auto-mechanic workshops, with brands such as Corghi, Autopstenhoj, Sherpa y Tecnomotor, among others.
The flagship brand is Corghi, founded in 1954 by brothers Erminio and Remo Corghi in Correggio, in the province of Reggio Emilia. In 1961, Corghi invented the first tire changer, effectively creating the automotive equipment sector, and subsequently confirmed its technological and innovative leadership with milestone solutions: from “leverless” tire changers to touchless wheel aligners, leading to the recent Uniformity, globally awarded as the only existing diagnostic tire changer.
Nexion carries out its production activity in 12 plants worldwide, including China, and employs more than 2,000 people. In the international market, Nexion is present with 16 subsidiaries and hundreds of distributors.
Recently, Nexion has created a center of excellence for electronic research and development, betting firmly on the application of Industry 4.0 technologies and increasing the number of dedicated professionals within the Group to more than 120.
